crx timing belt
just bought a crx a week ago and the timing belt has snapped on it. i wuz traveling at about 2mph when this happened. does anyone no if this would have done any damage to the valves or pistons in my engine or should it be ok went i fit a new belt?
if you wernt goign fast, it might be OK. replace the belt, and do a compression test.
we wont be able to look in your engine fromt eh internet
, but do as i said, repalce ti and do a compression test

yeah a few pple have told me that,so hopefully it will be ok. would timing be a big job. i was told that the vtec has floating cams and special tools are needed. is this true??
the timing belt on my b16 snapped at 70mph and believe it or not my valves are 100% OK.... I took the head off and checked everyting out, new head gasket, greddy timing belt and a few hours of labor it was all back together.... did a compression test and it was A-OK
