tomorrow i'm going to look at 92 cx hatch with 166k and with rust in the rear. Other then that the body and interior is pretty clean. How much should i offer the guy? His asking price is $2500 and the car is listed at $2100 for resale. I'm looking to have this for my project car.

 

Sounds good, better than buying a CRX for $3000+.

 

i bought my 92 DX for $3300 w/ 160K clean body and interior...and clean title...i say pay no more than $4000 for a 92-93

 

I paid 2100 for my 93 dx with 120k little bit of rust in the quarter panels. runs good, one woman owner, dented hood but other wise clean

 

i say no more than 2k is a sufficent price for 166k and rust. offer him less and then work your way up.

 

i just sold a 93 dx with rust around the quarters for 2000...

as a side note getting that rust around the wheel wells fixed can get real expensive. if you are planing on fixing it, you may want to take it to a body shop to get a quote first.
