Sounds like what my head gasket did. Is water mixing with your oil?

I have the same setup axcept B18C. No white smoke for me. You won't be able to tell on the dipstick. Just check next time you drain the oil. I'm stating what happened to me. I hope it isn't, especially if you just bought the motor.

youd be able to tell from the dipstick what you mean? oil would get milky and nasty. head gasket leaking wont always let oil mix with coolant. you need a head gasket most likely dude. how does the car work? idle? ive seen many times the IACV leak and cause the car to burn coolant as well.

Coolant level is good, I pulled the spark plugs today and they seem normal except for the fact that it looks like im running preety lean.
Now that you mention it I had some problem with my IACV. When I used the one from The motor I just installed it would idle at like 1800-2000 even when warm, so I swaped the one from my b17 and it idles normal.B17 also Smoked in a similar way mainly after I removed the cat.
Just as a side note I know they use marvel mystery oil in there motors when they get them to prevent a seize I quess. and I was also told to pour a little bit in each cyl. befor I start the motor to prevent cracking a piston ring and such from the motor sitting.(could it just be that burning off)

If the motor hasn't ran very much at all and with the combination of having no cat I would say this is just normal for a motor that has been sitting for some time; this is what my friends swap did.

Also noticed That It smokes more when down shifting and stopped at a red light. Not so much when I get on the throttle, but more when I let off .Also If I park the car I can watch a small amount of white smoke like float around in the exaust tip and around it.

Since you got some miles on it already it isn't just burn off so I would get a leak down and compression test just to know the condition of the motor, and as of right now it just sounds like a bad head gasket.

there ya go than , try resealing your IACV , coolant runs through it and if it leaks your car will ingest coolant.

If you're not sure just go ahead and do a leak down test. that will tell you the condition of the motor.
