Default best sounding exhaust and best performance wise?

I have a 98 ITR motor in my 98 civic coupe and I'm running 4-1 headers, high flow cat, and a Skunk2 muffler. It's sounds loud and mean but I'm looking for an exhaust or muffler with a quieter but mean sound. Any suggestions?????

Here's my list(best to not so best ). Quiet sound and still deliver optimal power.

1. Hytech
2. SMSP
3. Fuji RM-01A
4. Mugen TL
5. Apexi WS

There has to be thousands of "exhaust" threads out there. A simple search will give you hours of reading.

Walker/Eric, did you guys paint your mufflers flat black? I wouldn't mind getting Hytech myself.

Walker did. Mine is still silver though. I'm kind of tempted to paint mine black after seeing his in person.

If I were in the market for a new exhaust, I wouldn't even consider anything but the SMS.

Had it on my last ITR. I loved it! I'd love to get it on my low budget ITR now but I think it will be out of my price range.

Now i just need to push the heat shield away so when it is cold it does not resonate and drive me insane.
