Default GSR Blades

Okay, I test fit one of the GSR Blades today. Keep in mind...I didn't clean them up. I'll save that for when I add some winter tires. *which is why I'm not posting this in the A/C forum* I weighed both wheels + tires for fun. There are variables to consider:

1) The GSR Blades were the same tire size as the Fit Sport OEM tires, but the were Michelin XGT (195/55). They are worn down to the cords on the inside of the tire. I'm sure the tires might vary in weight between them with full tread.
2) I'm using a digital bathroom scale. It's of good quality...but it's just not the same since I had to balance the Fit Sport wheel a little to get it to stay upright without falling over. The GSR blade sat nicely however.

If you can't tell by the pics I weighed the Fit Sport wheel + tire at 35.2 lbs and the GSR Blade + tire at 31.6 lbs.

Anyways, here are the pics. I think they look good...almost like they were made for the car.

You gonna paint the blades?

My vote is for bronze.

As of right now I don't have any plans to. Mine are a little beat up, but I've actually considered using some summer tires on these and then figure out my winter situation later. Possibly get some 14" steelies or HX's for winter.

Hey those look really good! I would not paint them personally.

You could also run the blades in front and oems in back for a true 'custom' look

Looks better than the fit wheels, but pretty beat up looking.
Might be interesting if they were color matched to the car

I have all 4. I was just test fitting 1 of them. I was going to use them for winter, but I've decided to take a gamble and not get winter tires. I'll buy some summer tires for the Blades in the spring.

I dont think so.

So what is so rough about them. Is it just the clearcoat peeling, rash, etc?

I would go bigger. Go black rim and polished lip. I think a 16" would fit the wheel well better.
