Does Traction Bars affect a car handling.....????

Default Does Traction Bars affect a car handling.....????

well i know it eliminates wheel hop and improves acceleration and quarter mile times but does it affect the car ability to handle around corners in essence cause it to understeer any.....?

If the bars are properly designed, i.e. the front bar mount points are directly inline with the 2 LCA inner mount points so as to prevent the bars from binding, then no it should not affect handling in any way. I've heard reports of it being beneficial in all driving situations because it eliminates any fore-aft movement of the control arms, and prevents caster from being affected due to bushing flex, etc.
