Default Orlando Speed World: Better Late than Never?

Saw this on Competition Plus:

ORLANDO TO INSTALL CONCRETE BARRIERS

The Agent hears that Orlando (FL) Speed World will replace the guard rail with new concrete safety barriers starting after Christmas this year. Slip-Tech, Inc. and Cyrus Construction will be doing the work.

I guess it only took a few cars nearly flying into the crowd to force the powers that be to put in concrete safety barriers. Glad they took this important step forward in safety.

I have a better idea...Tear down the whole place and redo it

That whole facility is just unsafe and horrible. The road getting in and out of the track is this pitful road that is like barely one lane. The track itself needs to be repaved. I dont know how the run the World Street Nationals there every year. One day something really bad is goin to happen.

They just had an event over the weekend "Night of Fire", a bunch of jet cars. One of the jet cars went over the railing at the end of the track.
