Default Megan Racing strut bars / C pillar bar

These things look to be very well constructed and are AMAZINGLY priced. MY question is to anyone who owns them: Are they of similar quality to things such as DC sports and PW:JDM bars that are 4x the price? Will they perform their purpose? Or will it effectively just be some steel bars running hoizontally across my car.

I have a Megan lower Tie bar in the rear, seems fine to me? I also have a megan exhaust too on my hatch. Its kinda jank but sounds decent with a D series. B series yikes its nasty watch out. The full stainless steel piping is plus.... but sorry were not talking about exhuast...

To me a SIMPLE strut bar is a strut bar your paying for the name mostly. I would buy them hell try BOMZ too there cheap and do the same thing.

how so? Just bc they dont say COMPTECH doesn't mean there 100% junk. The Upper Strut bars are pointless i'll admit that, but a front lower tie bar made a little difference on my Eg it helped with what little bodyroll i had and i def noticed when i took it off the car and went around corners.

I just installed the megan racing c pillar last weekend. It helped stiffen up the back but i'm basically stock on suspension, front spoon strut tower + lower springs + stock shocks. So I felt a noticable difference similar to that when I installed the front spoon bar. But I'm starting to think that I need more bar in the front since I installed the rear c pillar

Some people say it doesn't matter but it helps with reducing the inertia feeling and body flex. It just depends how much shaving 0.0000125 seconds off each turn means to you. I personally like pushing my car through turns etc so every little bit helps. Some guys on here are drag biased (so a c pillar doesn't do anything for them).

I'll repost when I get my ksport dampers/coils in.

As far as quality of construction. They are made pretty strong. Fitment was perfect. You can lengthen the bar or shorten it. So if you wanted to run a bar across the b-pillar, you can do that too. But I personally wouldn't recommend it. I wouldn't unbolt my driver's seat belt bolt to install a bar and still use the oem seat belts. Overall, I say the megan racing c pillar is good bang for the buck($35 with shipping here on h-tech).
