problem shifting above 3500 rpm
Here's what's going on. A month ago I noticed that my clutch stuck to the floor. We couldn't find the leak. So I 'd just refill and drive. A few weeks later, I started to get really rough grinding shifts. Then, my car shifted fine, but i couldn't shift past 3500 rpm. (The clutch was not fully disengaging?) I could accelerate and hit vtec, but to shift I had to wait until the needle fell to about 3500 rpm.
Found the leak in the master cylinder. Replaced it, and fully bled the lines. Replaced tranny fluid, and everything shifted perfectly even in high rpms. Then I drove home, and shifts started getting rough and couldn't go past 3500. Now car won't go into gear again. Is this a tranny issue or does it sound more like a clutch issue? I am thinking I should also replace the slave cylinder even though it's not leaking.

sounds somewhat similar to a problem i had. minus the going to the floor deal. tore mine apart, found that the springs in the clutch were working there way out and there was a chunk of metal in the clutch material gringing on the pressure plate.
