jde is right i park my car where I can hear it. Last night I didn't hear ****, my remote even showed the "lock" closed. When the car gives the warning chirp it wakes me up and I go to the window to check on my ride every time.

They slash the plastic inner fender lining, slash open the hood release cables outer coating, tug on the inner cable. They can also get to it from the bumper especially on that style of bumper. These guys may have been good enough to find your hood pin switch and either unplug it or hold it down. They may have simply disconnected the battery within seconds of setting off the alarm (not likely if your remote doesn't report it). Once they have your battery disconnected, they can cut the siren which is easily found on your firewall or strut tower. From that point, they probably rolled it down a few houses silently. Then they used your alarm's start kill relay to hotwire the car more easily than if it were stock. Then they reconnect the battery and off they go. Takes 5 minutes.

For a car that has been cu$tomized to that extent, I would strongly recommend a tracking system. For all Hondas/Acuras, I strongly recommend a battery backup module and that you stealth install the alarm along the lines of what I describe in the write-up linked in my sig. Otherwise you end up clogging these forums with your "help, I got jacked" threads. Not that I don't feel bad for you, cuz I do. And I don't blame you. I don't blame the victim. You had an alarm. It sucks. Next time, you'll know what to do. Next time your car wont be a thief's paycheck.

All I can say responding to responses (yeah that sounds weird) is that if your security is what you say it is then you got jacked by some high end thieves, not the 19 year old wigger ricers at the seveneleven/mcdonalds strip mall....

Heard about some computer nerd thief who was using a laptop with a wireless connection at a hotel to grab the codes out of mid-air when pple locked their doors (high end mercedes benzes, lexus, and ****) and would just unlock and remote start 'em and the car'd think it was just the remote..

SO not all thieves are low life "gangstaz" - some of them (especially the ones that steal for a living) are pretty ******* good at what they do, so if all that security was in place like u said it was...then as harsh as it may sound...you got beat by somebody better, 'tis what it comes down to, no matter how good security you have somebody can crack it...

EDIT:
Sorry to hear tho, nice, clean car.

It would take too long to find the relay to hotwire for the starter sillynoid... All you need to do is just bump start the car. I don't think auto tranny cars get jacked too much..
