Is it the plastic peice or the whole rod? Doesn't the plastic piece screw on? I think it should have a plastic piece around the base, pop that up and look or feel. I searched for you but I couldnt find anything so give us more info.

You could unscrew the other **** and screw it on to the other seat temporarilly. I bet the **** is stripped and the screw is fine. You could always spend a few dollars and buy a new ****. WOW what a technical post. Im bored though. PEACE

the rod has fallen too far to even make it work and i think part of the piece of platci is still on the threaded rod so i can't get the other **** on there

I think theres a plastic ring around the ****. I wonder if that will pop out so you can reach the metal rod. Not sure just a thought.

What if you came from underneath or where ever the rod leads to, that allows them to fold and push the rod back up and screw a new **** on then??

a buddy of mines twisted mines off by accident and thought that he broke it. i just kept on searching and searching for the little screw on part in the seat and just found it. it won't fall all the way down, it's probably just leaning to the side a little.....can't remember how i did it actually, but i was messing around with the other side and figured out how to get the seat down without the ****, just use like a flat head or something strong enough to pry the hook to unhook it, and then get something skinny and long and just feel around in the hole, until you find the screw and just pop the **** back on....well, twist it on that is....gl guys...........
