Default Anyone purchase from JDMhondaparts.com???

I was looking at their monthly specials and they have shift linkage and hasport mounts for $475 w/ b16a purchase.

Has anyone bought their engine from them? It seems like I have heard bad stories.

Thanks-

hondamotorsonline.com
I second that.

I have heard good and bad things about JHP...never anything solid. Sorry I can't give you more info.

Thanks for the info. I was leaning towards going with hondamotorsonline.com, but that special is such a good deal.

i got my mounts from jdmhondaparts.com and didn't have a problem. But I just purchased my motor from hondamotorsonline.if you do the math i was told from jdmhondarts 1750 for the complete swap thats with shipping to massachusetts . hondamotorsonline charged me 1550 for a complete swap with shippin.depending on where your from shippin will be different .Hondamotorsonline will sell you hasport mounts for 350 if you get their complere swap and there's already a sir linkage in the swap so you'll be saving alot more money.Maybe i'm just cheap but i want to save money towards other performance mods for my swap. Just my 2 cents ,take care

check evans honda....i have alink to them in my signature...i got my complete b17 swap from the(motor, tranny, reprogrammed ecu, axels, hasport shift linkage, hasport billet mounts...everything for 2500)they were great to deal with...i was gonna go through hondamotorsonlin, steve was a great guy to talk to...very helpfull....i was just impatient and watned my motor and evans is here in tennessee....but i would givee both places

p.s.....make sure you get the hasport shift linkage the sir you have to cut and weld for it to work....hasport shift likage makes the shifts O so very smooth.

So the SiR shift linkage that comes in the swap wont work?? I thought it was the Integra linkage that had to be modified.

nope you hav to modify the sir shift linkage also....i have read this on a couple of sites before i had my swap done...also steve at honda motors online told me this also.....but seriously i would highlt recommend the hasport shift likage...i love the way it shifts....that combined with a short shifter and you are set,.

I bought a few items at jdmhondaparts...nothing major like an engine. Just the small parts...jdm header, type R pistons, flywheel. Sheng the owner was cool, even gave me a flange for free...worth $70 bucks i think.

eh jdmhondaparts.com isnt the place to buy motors, i bought a longblock from them, the cams were rusted, salt water in the spark plug holes, a broken distributor, and like 3 broken sensors. hondamotorsonline.com always everything working, clean, and no broken senors, i recommend them.

does hondamotorsonline.com do a compression test or leak down test or any kind of test? I like how hondamotorsonline have a no broken sensor guarantee and they include the distributer in there long blocks, not like JHP

I just ordered a motor from hondamotorsonline. I haven't got it yet but they seem cool about everything so far, and pretty cheap too.
