Default K20A head on to a K20a3 block?

ok been lookin into my girlfriend's K20A3 and i know the motor is like ****. no v-tec ( well the lame v-tech that kicks in @ 2200 or whenever it kicks in) and its juss sucks ***. but is it possible to swap a K20a head on a k20a3 block? will v-tec be the same as the type s ? or is it just a waste of time to try. thought bout it as kinda mini me set up for a base Dc5? is it possibe?
let me know what yall think

The block and head are the same but internals are completely different and so are some of the bolt ons and ecu. The head bolts right on but i think it is kind of pointless since the k20a block has better bottom end internals as well like higher compression pistons 11.0:1opposed to 9.8:1. I would just get a complete swap.

Unfortunately the K-Pro does not work with automatic trannys. More information on http://www.hondata.com/kpro.html

so the kpro is like a totally new ECU ....like when i do my a3 swap (i have a D17) i wont have to get an si ECU, i can just get kpro? <-this would be ideal when i boost it since you can mess w/ the fuel delivery settings

K-Pro is a K-series ECU that has been tweaked by Hondata ... you can either buy a complete K-Pro ECU from Hondata or send them a K-series ECU and they can convert it to K-Pro.
