I recently turned 16 and bought a manual 94 ex with 122,000 miles. CV boot was torn and the bearings are making weird noises. I'm planning on replacing the axles, clutch, and flywheel. My future plans are to replace my D16 with a built D16 from JG engine dynamics ( great people ) and a turbo. I was wondering what the best turbos for the D16 are out there. I found a turbonetics 92-95 turbo at Dezod.com but it was for ex with ABS and i dont have ABS. any help/ suggestions for plans/parts (exhaust, intake manifold, fuel management?) will be a great help. thanks

 

a t3/t4 works very well with a built d16 BUT i would not waste my time with a d16... B-series is a way better platform to start on.

while pricing engines i found a d16z6/y8 can run about 600
a b18b is around 900

so why not pay the extra $ for 127 vs 114 tq and 147 vs 128 hp?
that's what i plan on doing.

as an extra plus ill be able to kill any ricer civic at my community college right off the bat.
