picked up a set of rota track r 15's today... what tire size is best.
hey wsup so the track r's are 15's for my 91 integra, picked them up brand new for 350 with free bondo job = D. there gunmetal and flawless.
i figured i can use 195/50/r15 or 205/50/r15, but i'd rather go with the 195's since there a little cheaper on tirerack . the person that i picked them up from says 195's won't work, so what do you guys think about what he's saying .

Edit: I'm special.
Like the guy below me said, 195/55-15 or 205/50-15.
Do you need help selecting a good tire for your specific needs?

195/55/15 or 205/50/15 would be more appropriate for a 90+ Integra.
What tires are you looking at?

Why would you get an all-season tire if you are leaving in California?
I would suggest you get the Kuhmo SPT as oppose to the ASX in 205/50-15. A much much better tire for you seeing as you will never encounter snow in your region (or so I hope). I think there may still be a rebate in effect on that tire, not to sure. Maybe Ken will answer that question for me.
Hope this helps,
Cheers!

old man neri is giving you good advice (as usual). Unless you like to drive to the mountains on ski trips, you don't need all-season tires. In above-freezing temperatures, summer tires will give you MUCH better performance, rain or shine, than all-season tires like the AST. And the Kumho SPT is only a few bucks more than the AST (which isn't even all that great of an all-season tire anyway).
At the Tire Rack, the SPT is $60 for 195/55-15, and $56 for 205/50-15. Either size will work on your car. (195/50-15 is too small.) And you can get a $40 rebate (click here) through the end of the year on the SPT (also on their ASX and AST all-seasons).
