Should the downpipe have a hanger?
After market headers are not uniform. Some have hangers that attach to the rear block point and some have no hanger points at all.
I asked about my hangerless header earlier and would like to see what the opinion of the group is.

Motor mount inserts and a properly fit exhaust after the header helps to keep the engine movement to a minimum, so if you can spring for the motor mounts from Energy Suspension (very cheap mod) it should reduce the strain on the header bolts.
Personally the extra support was one of the reasons I went with DC over Megan... but Megan is also an excellent d-series header.

When I swapped the exhaust for the header I have now, the fit was perfect.
I will check on the mounts, thanks. I will keep pics for the mount swap if I go that way.
I have a Megan style header (no hanger and made of SS)
Great link too.
