ok..my car was running then 1 day it decided not to start.now its throwing a check engine light and when i turn my key...i dont hear my fuel pump priming/i dont smell any fuel/and im not getting any spark from my dizzy.i figured it had to be the ecu...but i tried a few and no luck.any help will be greatly appreciated...thanks!!!!

i had a problem almost the same, my problem was that the battery kept moving around, and it didnt have a good ground,
i went to advanced and got this battery holder thing, and reagusted the ground,
if that helps any

 

i swaped the motor into my ef hatch...jumped over to obd1...so i have no clue how to check codes now.

I'd help but I dont know how, you should search around a little bit, someone has probably already mentioned how.

 

i believe you put together the orange wire and a purple together and the light will flash from your dashboard. your fuel problem might be a bad fuel relay under your dash, i had the same problem.

 

coo...thanks.yea i checked the main relay and it was bad.i also think i have a short in my wire harness sumwhere.i remember popping ecu fuses left and right.but that might be fixed now.thanks
