ok i built this motor b18c1 ctr pistions gsr rods....full head rebuild ivbuddy club cams, reatiners, springs, itrlma's, supertec valves....thats only some but my problem is i drove the car for a day and it was leaking from the head gasket and rear main seal replaced both and added arp headstuds to my set up now when i got ever thing back togeather my in take cam wont move so i cant turn it so its tdc with my crank pully...exhaust moves fine...its off alittle but enought to be to far out ...its feels stuck and wont move i checked tdc agian and it was tdc yet the intake cam wont budge...during the process i never started it up or anything...do u think its possible its a bent valve or what could cause this hold up? sorry if this was unclear just ask some questions im on limited time im at school righ tnow lol

I know this will sound dumb, but did you put the cam caps on pointing the right direction? The arrows should point towards the timing belt and from the timing belt they should go from 2-4 (1/5 are obviously right). Atleast pull the valve cover and double check them.

ill def take a look altough im pretty certain they are the right direction, the valve cover is sitting off becuase i couldnt put the belt on with out the cam in sync with tdc...so ill double ceck
BTW, generally bent valves wont prevent the cam from turning. Generally when the valve is bent, its in the "down" position thus the cam can move freely...and/or the valve can be pushed down, just not up.

Generally the off vtec cam lobes arent large enough to cause the valves to hit the pistons. Also, if that was the case, you'd be able to rotate the crank back a bit and then turn the cam.

Sounds to me like clear installer error. Plastigauge to verify your clearances, verify reassembly is correct, and consult someone locally with more knowledge of what's been done that can assess the problem hands-on.
