CRX with ramhorns please chime in...mine doesnt fit..
anyways i put this in FI section but decided i would get more hits from crx forum
ok so...i finally got my manifold...installed it tonight
but my hood is hitting it its just laying on it doesnt close. probably an 1 inch or lil less for it to close...



show me your ramhorn set ups in your crx if you have it. thx

Well I mean theres isn't much to say if it doesn't fit. If you dont think you could trim the skeleton and make it fit, then it either doesnt fit or your motor mounts are taller than another brand. ??

IT's that particular ramhorn. I have seen ramhorns on 88-91s before without any major problems. If you don't mind me asking, who made that for you?
hate to break it to u, but u might be outta luck with the ram horn set up. U can either cut out the hood or sell ur ram horn and pick up a log manifold. bummer man

i dont think cutting the hood will even make it work.

there is rtv gasket maker around it cause we thought we had a leaky dizzy o ring.

most manufacture ramhorns are the exact height, and is constructed with 2.25" elbows, which is standard radius.
unless they use short radius elbows, a ramhorn will have hood clearance issues regardless of company/who made it, unless he promised it will fit ed/ef chassis.
