...is not working!!! Well, it works but will take up to 5 min to turn on, after i open the door. Sometimes the damn thing wont work at all. When the light is turned on manually, it seems to flicker and dim. I replaced the bulb, but to no avail.

I'm no mechanic and dont pretend to be. I would just love for the one thing that works on my car to in fact WORK.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

 

have you tried replacing the fuse?

 

maybe you have a loose wire or connection somewhere..

 

If the light flickers on and off when you turn it on, then it's not your fuse; otherwise it would just stay off. As H.G. suggested above, you most likely have a loose connection somewhere.
