I just bought a 2003 type-s and second servo gear is out, what is the warranty on hondas powertrain, i saw now its 6yr/70k but does that apply for my car?

 

yes it applies for your car. and yes that should be covered under warranty. that is a common problem with these 6 speed honda transmissions. hell my 06 type s i bought 3 months ago is having the same problem already.

I dont think he has it since my 03 Si doesnt have it. I know Acura is slightly different on the warrenty but I dont think its that much of a difference. Mine is a 3 year 36k miles.

 

i thought acura was 5 year 50k and powertrain was 100k

 

just got a call from the service manager and he said it is not covered but he can see if he can still get it for free
