m/t, hoosier, and m&h doesn't have a size for 14 inch rims and i am planning to put these on some steelies. what kind of 60' times are you guys pulling with your bfg's. a guy on turbod16 (jfk) pulled a 1.8 60' with his nitto drag radials and i was wondering if i could get into the 1.8's. also, how hot do the bfg's like to get when you run them, and how big of a burnout should i do?

I would get the right wheel so your selection of tires is much better. I would much rather shop for the best tire for my combo, not the only tire that fits my wheel.

But BFG's aren't bad, I just wouldn't say they hook the best??

BFG's do hook decent to good, depending on several things. Don't expect to get the best out of them if your car isn't setup to run them sucessfully.

Just bolting them on makes an improvement, but getting down below 1.9 on them takes some talent behind the wheel and decent suspension/driveline tuning...

i would go with 225 instead of 205. a lot of my all motor friends have gotten 1.8 60' ft on 225/50/15. but im not sure if they make 225 for 14's tho

They make 215's. I'm getting the 205's though cause I don't think the 215's will fit my 5.5" steelies I got to mount the BFG's on.

The BFG's work pretty good for me. I just gotta learn how to drive a lil better and lower my 60ft times.

My BFG drag radial didn't hook up a I thought they would. I use to get 2.3 60ft before on snow tires, and with the BFG's I only managed a best 2.2 60 ft
