Default my heat sucks any suggestions

Well as must of you have noticed its getting colder here on the east coast and my heat sucks its luke warm at best. anyone have any ideas of how to make it warmer. I unhooked my fans last week hopeing the car might run a little warmer but it did nothing the car does not run any hotter. any one have any ideas?

Get your system flushed, filled and bled and change the thermostat while you're at it.

get a different thermostat for winter, honda thermos are 171 degrees but you can get 180 and 195 degree thermos at the parts store, also you can change the rad cap to one of a different pressure

It's about getting the proper temperature coolant through your heater core inside the cabin. If your heat blows lukewarm, either not enough coolant is getting to the core (air bubble or blockage) or it's not being warmed to the proper temp (chenge thermostat).

Yes the T-stat. Mine was stuck open and I had very little heat in the cabin. I had the t-stat changed and now the heater works perfect and my car warms up faster.

flush coolant to get out air or blockage, replace thermostat, and fill to proper level with coolant
