Default B18C5 oil filter compatible w/ F22?

Traded in my ITR for a AP2. Now I got a bunch of filters unused filters from Acura that I bought w/ a deal they had at the time. Any ill effects of using the ITR filter oil filter? I've heard of ITR users using S2K filters... just wondering if any ill effects if it's reveresed. Thanks

i think they are different part numbers now b/c all of the integras/civics have changed to the new smaller oil filter while the s2000 is still using the same filter they've been using for the past 6 years. they were using the same filter up until that point a couple years ago i believe. i used to use s2000 filters on my b18c5 all the time just b/c i liked to use the older filter.

You'll be fine as long as the thread pitch is the same and the gasket diameter is the same as stock (wouldn't surprise me if it was any different). As far as size is concerned, a larger filter will have more filtration surface area which is an advantage and shouldn't affect oil pressure with a slight increase in oil capacity.

The RC51 uses the same oil filter as the Insight (different part number) at a $7 discount. I got sick of paying $16 for a oil filter for my bike.

the thread pitch has been the same on all hondas since 87-present, its just when the 01 civic came out they changed the size thats all.

i thought the s2k toyo roki oil filter was like the best honda oil filter? reason being why everyone interchanges them on thier honda's. well i guess a few times with the itr filter won't hurt.

I also worked at Honda, If you are using a 15400-plm-a02 you are putting on the wrong filter. The PLM-A02 filter will fit but is much smaller. Also the oil flow is not as good. I have used the smaller oil filter but that is not what Honda calls for.

Also, most of the parts dept dont know what type of oil to use in the rear diff. They will put VTM-4 in your diff
