Default 88-91 ZC DOHC (similar to D16A9 engine) into my 89 HB DX...yay, or nay?

Ok so I was wondering if I were to purchase a complete 88-91 ZC DOHC engine + tranny from http://www.jdmenginescorp.com/...d=12 With all the parts listed, would it be just a complete bolt on opteration for my 89 DX HB? What about if I got the engine without the tranny? Any other suggestions for a project with a starting cost < $1000?

No, you still need to convert to MPFI first.

I would need:
"Parts for ZC (supposing you have a complete engine)
-Injector Resistor Box (most all Honda ones will work but I recommend getting an Si one)
-PM6 Si ECU (good), PG7 Integra ECU (better), or PM7 ZC ECU (BEST!)" ?
...Found another site...can get same engine with tranny for $550 USD
so if I were to get a SOHC, I can't see how it would be THAT much cheaper...?

yeah it will work

but you do need to convert to MPFI(serch google for DPFI to DOHC ZC)

there are write ups ALL OVER the net.

ZC bolts to stock mounts, uses d series trannys.

Thanks guys, i'll probably have a core within hopefully less than a month, i'll let you know how it goes...maybe I should take some pics and do a short write-up, i'm not too sure what kind of write-ups are on a D15b2 to 88-91 DOHC ZC...but i'm sure i'm not the first to attempt this. Pretty good deal for the money i'll be paying I think...scince i'll be doing it myself
