Matt Scraton did Not break a motor. They replaced a headgasket because it was starting to leak. Ready to play on Sunday!!!
Abel tried to qualify also.
Humphreys had a problem w their boost controler and finally got it fixed. Almost went 200 with more boost to go. They are in a battle with the 10.5 PSCA points leader to see who can go 6s first in this sactioning body.
Mike Moran finally got down the track again. Jay Payne is having tire shake problems after going 6.0s at the last race.

Yea, Matt went into the .40s twice this weekend.
Gary, Matt, and Brad all lost 2nd round. Humps is in the final against a 768 big block nitrous car. Goodluck to the last import still in. Still no 6s....

Yeah...with a few minor rule changes.....Like they have to run Mufflers where PRO MODS dont have to. thats one of the major things.

if i recall correctly, justin won his final on the tree, against a faster car... he's probably still walking on clouds right about now :-)
this street car super nationals was one of the best drag races that i've ever shot, sand or asphalt, and i've doing it for about the last 14 years or so... import vs. domestic, east vs. west, 8 cyl vs. 6 cyl, turbo vs nitrous, the only thing missing was fwd!
afaik, the pro mods had to add ~200 lbs to get into the pro street class? a lot of 'em got put on the trailer early... there were 6.3x cars out there that were having problems tuning for the dry air and the xlnt track conditions.
