ITR coilovers in a gsr
Hi,
I have a 2000 gsr and I was hoping to upgrade my suspension to some stuff higher up the tein ladder (currently have super street stuff, but after a nice day going up and down a mountain, I think I want to take my suspension even further, though it was already amazing I thought) It seems that the super racing and type flex coilovers are only available for the type r, which I only really know has different rear lca's. So I'm wondering if all I need is the rear lca's from a type r or if there's something else.
Also, how valuable do you think independent compression and rebound adjustment is? Both for a daily driver that sees some scca events and for a more dedicated track car.

They make flex's for the gsr. Spring rates will be a big factor on ride quality and i think the flex's will be a good upgrade from the SS. Many may tell you koni/ground control because it is cheaper. The tein brand may be a bit pricey but they do have some nice stuff out there. If your going to do it, do it right the first time.
thanks for the info. I was mostly asking about the super racing setup for information, I doubt I'll ever shell out that kind of money (or take on building a full-fledged road race car). I'll do some more research about other options (I heard a lot of the koni/ground control arguments when I first bought my suspension)
