As the title says. my brother was using my car when he told me that he was coasting to a stop and couldn't accelerate and the battery light came on, the car died. it keeps cranking but won't turn over. it led me to believe that it could be the dizzy? please let me know guys. i got no CEL. checked the cap and it looks like its corroded on the metal points.

i can hear the fuel pump priming..

EDIT: the car started today, weird. maybe after 5 mins of driving it'll die again.

i'll check for spark today.

just replaced the cap and rotor. nothing. and there is no spark now.

it started earlier last night, but now nothing. help pls!

 

check the coil.

 

crankin and turning over means the same thing which is the starter motor is turning the engine
