Default Calling GReddy Header owner...

I need some true and honest opinion. How would you rate your GReddy header on your Si-VTEC?

Please don't tell me go DC. Mugen would be nice, but they discontinued it for the 4th gen. I heard. Spoon is also discontinuing their as well. So I have not much choice. Please help.

i if you want some hardcore **** get a sms adjustible header and exhaust.
He, he, he, Im pretty hardcore... If you want a badass header, and don't mind cutting the subframe for a 4-1 with 2.5" collector, SMSP is the way to.. 179hp on stock motor...

He's right. It looks sick. Can't wait to get mine. They are not yet available though, SMSP is still testing, and then they are planning on making a 4-2-1 later, where you won't have to cut the subframe. I think I'll wait a bit longer for that one.

P.S. is there any word on the legality of the SMSP header?

we want to do some testing with a 4-2-1 before he markets it.. hopefully it will fit with less cutting, and more ground clearance, and retain the same amount of hp his 4-1 made..

If you are referring to CARB approval? Then no it will not be. Either header will not bolt up to the stock exhaust, but why would you want to? It will also require a 2-1/2" cat for street use.

Pertaining to CARB approval, I don't plan to go through that process for any of my race headers. If someone decides to use it on the street then I have no control over that. Also if a header gets CARB approval (a very long process) and then development changes the design for the better the previous approval is void.

Lets say I did use a 2.5" cat, do you think it will pass emissions if I put some dry gas in the tank, I heard it helps?
