Default SRS steering column problem

Ok, so my horn, audio switches, cruise control switch, basically all the switches around the steering wheel stopped working. I opened it up and it was the electrical coil thing that you call the SRS column where it allows you to turn your steering wheel while being able to control the electric things like the horn etc....I turned it a few times and it started working fine, until I made a complete uturn and it stopped working...not sure if anyone has had this problem before, please chime in

Replace it; be sure to have it aligned correctly when you re-install the steeing wheel. it only turns so far in either direction. The new one will come with a piece of tape holding it in the center position.
