Quick Question: Are the 14mm rear caliper bolts reverse threaded?
I'm currently changing my rear brake rotors and pads and seem to have hit a wall. The 14mm bolts that hold the caliper housing to the bracket is not budging. I have put probably 200-250 ft-lbs on this sucker to no avail.
So is this thing reverse threaded and I've been tightening it for about 20 minutes straight?
BTW, this is the bolt that holds the caliper housing. I'm not talking about the 12mm bolts that hold the actual caliper assembly into the caliper housing.
Thanks for any replies.

they are not reverse threaded...its only 14mm...it should come out right away without any problem...make sure that u dont break the thread...coz u are going to be there the whole week working on that once u break the nut...good luck
Quick Question.. quick answer.. NO they are not reverse threaded.. mine were pretty hard to budge too.. I used a long breaker bar and got it out... it would not budge w/ my regular ratchet... 14mm socket to 18" long breaker bar and it came free...
