im paiting my car and i want to take off door moldings and shave off the holes..
do i just put tape on the back and fill them, or i have to fiberglass it or weld them?

 

you can bondo that but they probably wont last veyr long. ive been researching shaving side mouldings a lil bit before and what most peopel recommend is welding the holes shut then bondoing for finer details.


I think i may do it soon. is the side moulding underneath painted caus ei jsut wnat to remove them for now. do i weld a plate to the back of each hole or jsut fill it in?
