Jeremy,
is Sunday's race an inverted start? and are you running the wing again? just curious after you pulled it from mid-ohio if you thought the benefits out-weighed the drag factor for your home tracks.

Yeah, it does help with the wing on. On a track like Mid Ohio, I think the wing does not do much. It does not do much at buttonwillow either, but I am used to running it and the one fast corner at button needs the wing with the big splitter!

Got some specs on your CRX? </TD></TR></TABLE>
It's an Honda Challenge H4 CRX. Has the stock D16a6 motor built to the limit of the H4 rules. Car weighs about 2185 with driver.
What other specs would you like?

great save at 3:19min (sunday) and nice friendly bumping with thawley! it looks like it got a little sketchy when thawleys rear end got a little light and you gave him a tap in right before turn 6 (club corner).
what do you do for toe in the rear? zero or slightly out? the car looks like it rotates beautifully. great driving!
whoa! just watched Sat's in-car. crazy off with a good recovery.

It looks worse than it was. My car was starting to lose top end on the previous lap. (The battery was draining after the alternator belt let go.) So, my exit speed was lower than it normally would have been. Caught Jeremy and me by surprise. It got worse from there. But Jeremy and I had a fun couple of laps before I waved him by and dropped out of the race.
Not the way I wanted the end the season, but a good time nevertheless.
Thawley
PS: That was a ******* amazing start, Jeremy.

Yeah, it was a tap in wrong place. Like Thawley said, the motor wasn't getting off the corners like it should have. I knew something was wrong with his car after that because I should not have been pulling on him.
It was a fun race anyway!

I was about to ask what motor you were running. I love this stuff. Everything you are doing is exactly what I would do if I had the time and money. Track racing, in car video, building up my car, etc. I just wish I knew of a track or tracks around here (Mid Tenn) that supported the same type of racing. Although I shouldn't kid myself since my Rex rebuild is going at a dead snails pace.
Thumbs up though man....... You are living my dream.
