tunning is a good idea... so is lots of practice at the track... also there is always room for improvement with your 60 foot times so maybe some better tires or suspension

If all you have on your stock GSR is an intake then save your money, you don't need it tuned with no mods. Get some cams, header, exaust, etc. then get it tuned.

tunning is one of the last things you do... once you actually have a reason to tune... kind of think of it this way....

when you bolt on all those mods... you get power but all the mods work individually.

when you tune you can make those mods work together as a team to make the most out of things.

an intake isnt gona change much at all.... the stock ecu will detect the small amount of extra air and add fuel accordingly... so it doesnt need any outside(tunning) help.

when you tune a car basically all you do is change the air fuel ratios and timing to make the most while keeping things at a safe level...

also if you want a really good upgrade for your gsr.... get a type r transmission, an exedy clutch and a lightend flywheel, and good tires.

trust me that will send your head back.

Like everybody here has already said, tuning a stock car is not going to yield any power (without sacrificing reliability). Honda probably put more hours into your stock tune (making it perfect for your stock car) then anybody else has ever put into a tune or ecu. Thus, the stock tune is as good as it gets for a stock car. Some people might say its a little rich, but those are also people who blow up engines.
