What kind of accord (engine, package, no. of doors.....)
It might, be warned however that if you live in snowy Colorado you will need another set of tires and rims in the winter.

Rubbing is determined by the tire size, not the wheel size.

If it's an LX, the stock tire size is 205/65-15. If it's an EX, it's 205/60-16. Either way, your best tire size for 18" wheels on your car is 215/45-18. This size should not rub, assuming your wheels have the proper offset.
Most 215/45-18 tires are approved for mounting on rims that are 7.0-8.0 inches wide. 18x8 should work, but I would be more inclined to go with the 18x7.5 if it's available in the rims you're considering.
I'm sure you already know that 18" tires are going to be a lot more expensive than the smaller sizes; for example, even the bargain-priced (and excellent) Kumho Ecsta SPT costs almost twice as much as the same tire in most 15" sizes.
