Yeah, I opened up THAT can of worms.
An ITR just seems a little too "top-of-the-line" for a set of wheels like that.
Just MY personal opinion.

wheel ******
I've seen pics of Koala's car on TE37s, and he's posted pics of fresh CW ITR wheels. For all we know the Rotas (assuming they are; I don't have a clue about them to be honest) are his "winter mode" wheels.

Fixed.
It's a 1997 Integra Type-R. All 1994-1997 Integras in the USDM had that style front & rear bumper covers.

I could go for that.... I have just never been a fan of Rota knock offs... I prefer the real things... even if they are 5x more expensive.

I wasn't hating, I have just never seen such a fine car on a set of Rota's.
It's kinda like putting crappy American Racing wheels on a 60's Shelby Cobra... it just doesn't flow.
And I wasn't hating on YOU or YOUR CAR because you have rota's for non=standard wheels. I was just stating that I personally didn't like how they looked on a car such as a Type R. But, if you are baller enough to have several sets of true JDM, lightweight wheels, then so be it.
I just wish I had as much money at my disposal as some of you guys do... Maybe I can get my brother's ITR from him and get it running again.

Like I said, I didn't try to start a flame war or an argument over which wheels do/don't suck.
I just simply stated an opinion, which I am entitled to, and which the OP asked for. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Miracle »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">An ITR just seems a little too "top-of-the-line" for a set of wheels like that.

If you stop to think about it, it seems disproportionate to pay $1600 for a set of Spoon wheels to put on a car that originally only cost $26K. Most of them aren't worth but about half that now.
I don't see anything wrong to pay $400 for Slips if that's what you want, and I don't see anything wrong to pay $1600 for Spoons if that's what you want.
Just as an FYI, you can break <u>any</u> wheel if you try hard enough. I broke a spoke on a Spoon 16x7 wheel once. It was a fairly hard driven track car.
We were supposed to send that wheel back to Russia but we never did it.

First of all, Rota's aren't "bad" wheels. They're cheap relativity light weight copies of great JDM wheels. Yes, you'll find it a hard arguement to say that Rota Slip's are just as good as the Spoon version, and that's not what I'm saying.
But, if I had to choose between a 97 ITR rollin on genuine spoon's painted cw
or a 97 ITR rollin on rota's that spends the cash he saved on the wheels for track time.
Well, you know which one is the obvious choice.
for a clean R. Oh, by the way, why'd you shave the R emblem? just curious.
