I have a question, i need oversized de ls block ( b18a1) i thinking in the 83mm bore, but reading here say "caution" in a turbo ls b18 whit more of a 82mm bore...

I can bore the b18a1 to 83mm for turbo aplication? the block have a blockguard, forged piston (IASA, bore not defined) and eagle rods, i need touch the 380whp whit a t3/t4 turbo// 0.60 AR Compressor- 57 trim wheel / 0.63 Turbine

you need to resleeve first before you can bore over 82mm

 

you will need an aftermarket sleeve

 

81.5mm is the furthest you can bore on a stock B18a without aftermarket sleeves
