obd1 or obd2 distributors

obd1 or obd2 distributors
i have an obd 2 car with obd2 motor with obd2 wiring harness and an obd1 distributor
the motor is getting air and gas but no spark
does the obd1 distributor mean no spark or is it another problem
can some one help me out
and if i get the obd2 distributor will that definitly fix it
