h22 turbo help???

Default h22 turbo help???

putting turbo on my h22 and i am in need of fuel management it is obd1 h22 so i know my options of chipping with crome or uber but i am not experienced and dont have the money to get my car dyno tuned so i ask i plan on running 8psi on a stock block its a daily driver with me not being experienced enough to tune my own car should i just use the vafc or what i need the most reliable option please give me your input thankx

on a stock block you do not wanna mess around without it being fully dyno tuned. you can really hurt your motor. read through the faq on turbo ludes will give you alot of this info. but if you want turbo do it right

you can go with hondata. its a good unit and not too expensive.

dont i still have to get hondata tuned with dyno? what model of hondata should i look into.

I wouldnt boost your h22 until you have your fuel setup. If your on a budget look into a chipped p28 and get a custom basemap for your h22 . If you dont have the budget for tunning , then wait until you have enough. Dont risk a perfectly running motor. I got a custom map from john vega https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1507708 , and even with my huge 880cc injectors it idled nice. Just use the base map to get to the tune and not riping around on the street.
