so i just bought a '94 integra with a lot of goodies under the hood... the car's idle jumps up and down, from around 500 rpm to 1000 rpm (as if it had cams in it, which it doesn't) the idle control/throttle body is fine and the check engine light isn't on. Im thinking maybe it's the fuel injectors? (1,000cc injectors). the car's tuned properly with a t3/t4 at 10psi on an otherwise stock GSR motor pushing around 330 WHP... im thinking it's the injectors causing the idle to jump like that... looking for your imput, thanks.
as long as the A/F ratio is correct across the board i cant see it being injectors. but they are big , lol , bigger than ive played with , lol. sure its not your high idle valve? plastic screw adjustment?
1000cc injectors for 330whp? My guess is engine management problems. Could be the base idle is set too low, could be a bad IACV (not sure how you "checked" it), could be a bad ecu tune.
Like cranny said, check out the FITV on the underside of the TB as well. You'll have to take it apart (theres a how to somewhere....do a search).
