motor mounts stiffen with hose tubes?
I remember when I was searching for the window weld method, I saw someone posted that he uses sections of rubber hoses to stiffen the motor mounts. I've been searching for an hour and can't find that post. Anyone know who posted it?

Never heard of the "hose" method, but window silicone does work.

It probably just requires cramming short pieces of rubber hose in the open spots of the mount. I have seen people shim mounts for older Hondas with pieces of 1/4" rubber sheet.
I too have used the 3M Window Adhesive for mounts and found the results quite nice. I use it when working on a car that does not have Prothane mounts made for it.

I'm 25, yes it's Number Muncher...a game I played a lot as a kid.
I couldn't find a good picture of Number Muncher on the web, so I drew one up in SolidWorks and colored it how I saw fit. It looks kind of crappy....converting from a SW file to a .jpg doesn't do too well.
