Well said, but if you want 88 civic fenders, you will need the 88 civic bumper. I did this because I liked the flare of the civic fenders, but I orders a mugen civic bumper to fit the civic fenders. It will work, you just have to mix and match parts...

No it won't you will have to cut and weld the fenders together for the bottom part is different, and won't bolt up. I've posted this atleast 5 or 6 times. Please use the search feature. I've done this swap before don't question me it was from firsthand experience.

Bart i don't know that your talking about, but my crx right know has 88 civic fenders on it and they bolted right up, no welding. So don't go saying I don't know what I'm talking about.......The bumper will line up correctly if the bumper support is not bent, but I do not have a stock civic bumper, i have a fiberglass bumper, but still fits perfectly.

Bottom line, civic fenders with civic bumper will fit the crx. I've done it, and it's a bolt up application, i don't know where you go this welding crap from..........

It isn't a bolt up operation. The lower part of the fender is totally different. The CRX has a lower plastic peice, and the Civic doesn't, and it can't be added to the civic. Now if you are using a body kit to cover it up, that will probally work. With a stock body, and stock sideskirts it won't, wll it might but it will look like crap, w/ that section of the sideskirt missing.
