Regaurding the Kumho $40 mail in rebate...
I plan on purchasing a set of Kumho Ecsta SPT's and obviously, I'm interested in the mail in rebate. I will be purchasing through tirerack, and I'm assuming I'll be recieving the mail-in-rebate when I recieve the wheels.
Or, is it something that you need to download and print out?
Thanks for any and all help.

You need to download and print the certificate from Kumho's website, and send it in with a copy of your invoice within 30 days. Click here to download the certificate.
Here's a quote from the mail in rebate:
"Coupon reproduction will not be accepted"
My guess is that they send you that card when your tires come and you fill it out and send it back. The first page says "Complete form on back", meaning that it's a double sided card.
I'll call Kumho now and let everyone know what they say.

I called Kumho, but was transferred to a guy named David and it went straight to voicemail. I left a message and will tell you what he says about the rebate card.

So send them an original printout of the .pdf file from their website, and not a photocopy.

I talked to David Han there. He had never even heard of the promo and couldn't locate it on the site. I emailed him the link and he was just like "Well. It says it's good until the 31st and so I'd send it in. You'll prolly get it"

It will work. Just mail it in. The rebate slip says you need to allow 6-8 weeks to receive your rebate.

Note that it expires at the end of this month. So you've got one week to buy your tires.
Also - quick recommendation for the Kumho tires:
Kumho Ecsta SPT - great combination of performance (dry traction, wet traction) and value (purchase price, treadlife). This is a summer tire, not suitable for use on snow or in frigid cold of winter.
Kumho Ecsta ASX - this is an all-season tire, a good choice if you must use the same tire on snow and cold of winter as in moderate to warm temperatures the rest of the year.
