Default MUGEN!!!!!!!!! coilovers

i just wanted to know if anyone on here can tell me about the ride of these coilovers with the EG6 LCA's?

i have driven and rode in a tein and skunk2 full setup and the ride was great but i have not had the chance to ride on a set of the Mugen coilovers.

if any of you ballers have them please tell me if they are worth the money. Thanks Dave

i have just the rear, springrate is unknown because it came with the car and the previous owner didn't even know himself. According to King they come 16-28kg. THey theoretically would feel stiff, but them dampening is great. Even at the highest setting it feels like i'm riding on air.

I didn't believe it myself at first. Even thinking about it, theoretically it would ride like ***. But the higher I set the dampening it feels smoother. It almost goes against physics in all aspects, haha.

If no one believes I have this setup I'll take pics of it later.

not doubting your setup.. just doubting that it rides that soft.. haha.. then again, everyone's opinion to ride quality is different.

i think h&r sports on koni yellows a full soft is to harsh sometimes...

28K? Are you joking? You know, there are places with spring dynos, so you could find out your rates for sure.

Look for Mugen N1. It will say 16-28kg option springs, and they incriment in 2. As for the RSX application, I believe it goes up to 32kg.

this is what happens when they are used and in need of a rebuild. new or barely used on the streets will have the same effect a movie theatre popcorn in a popcorn machine has.

OP:

if thats the picture of the ones you want to get i would pass. those are beat to hell. how do i know? it takes alot of use to have the springs have their coverings flake off.

eitherway good luck,

So i was on my local forum here in Cincy and a guy on there has a set of Skunk2 Pro Series full coilovers he wants $300 for them and they are about 5 months old with about 6k on them. So i might pick these up just for the price.
