Good struts for my EG coupe, KYB AGX, whatcha think, help a noob out!
Before I get flamed,
I DID search, I did read.
My process of learning require 3 steps,
ASKING

Searching
So since the honda forums was ment for ASKING, let me askkk this...
I have a 1995 Honda civic EX, Coupe
with 16" Rota Grids with brand new 205/45/zr16 Kuhmo ecsta SPT's FTW
My problem, my car is BOUNCY!
I mean, I hit a bump and itll still bounce 5 minuts later.......
And my other problem, Tokito Blues are JUNK
See, I bought these struts not too too long ago, I havent had them a year, and there blown........
And I must tell you I have 91 civic struts in my 95, I simply swapped out the front FORKS.
So I am in the market of some new struts.
Now as I have searched, I am liking the KYB AGX's for the simple fact, there ajustable and fairly cheap $300.00 shipped to my door. I know I should save up and get the good coilover struts, but there EXPENSIVE!
So my question here today is:
Do you think I would be making a good choice witht he KYB AGX's for the money?
Or is there any "better" strut that is fairly cheap?
Id rathr not pay 400 bux for struts, but if I wont have to worry about replacing them for a few years, I may spend the extra 100 bux.
So I need your help/suggestion/advice of What struts I should buy with telling you what tires and wheels I have.
This car is my daily driver/racer
I don't plan on doing any dramatic drag racing, but some street racing is cool
And as far as ride comfort, Doesnt really matter, as long as she doesnt BOUNCE!
I have already sacraficed Comford with my daily driver by making my motor mounts SOLID
And no a/c

And do you think its a good idea to have the 91 civic struts in my 95 eg? or shold I switch back to 92-95 civic struts? I like to have my car kinda low, enought to get rid of the "wheel gap"
