Question about Intakes
um
do you mean, Can i add a intake without changing the manifold?
if so, yes.
if you're asking
My car doesn't have a intake manifold, can i somehow install a intake that magically hangs mystically in mid air.
then no.
do you know what a manifold is?

the intake manifold is a part of the intake system. air filter -> piping -> throttle body -> intake manifold -> cylinder. you probably dont want to run your car without an intake manifold, as it is pretty important to maintaining a smooth idle and obtaining optimum performance from your engine. leave your airbox alone do some research on what these parts actually do.
And that is how we like to say "Welcome to Honda-Tech!"
you can find a way to put an air filter on the stock intake piping. You can put an intake on without putting on a new intake manifold. you can put a intake manifold without changing head. im guessing you are talking about doing one of those.
stick around, you'll learn a lot here. even tho most users are negative to noobs, once you learn, no one can really say anything. everyone had to learn at some point.

Yes it does, in fact you can see the intake manifold. If it didnt, then explain to me how the air is getting to the motor after it goes through the throttle body?
