Default 2004 Pilot accelerator pedal feels sticky

2004 Pilot Ex, when the car is off, the gas pedal is smooth as it can get, but when I start it up, it feels as though the pedal has rusty spring or hinges, and it needs a bit more effort to get it going, all my of the line starts are a bit jerky because of this.

Any sugesstions?

Thanks to all in advance
