As you probably known, Japanese are pretty dedicated car enthusiasts, and are quick to imitate styles of the US. Well right now here in the US, "JDM" Style is one of the most popular styles, so naturally the Japanese have started to build their cars to replicate american wannabe JDM cars. Since most so-called "JDM" cars in the states lack actual Japanese parts or Japanese tuning characteristics, it is now it's own style. It is known as US-JDM style,an extension of the spo-com movement which was spawned from the fast and furious era. They can be found at US style car meetings along side American SUV's, Lowriders etc.

Putting oem honda wheels on another honda was never popular in Japan.. until now!



This guy has it down well, generic "JDM Gray" Paintjob, stock , Amber Corners, Integra wheels, replica mugen lip etc.



Unfortunatley it was probably easier for this guy to source RS-Zr's then some Rotas. Sweet tow-hook as well.



Great combo of mismatched wheels, two of which are the jaw-dropping civic si stock wheels. Please note the "I love JDM" license plate. Of course unlike people in the US I think these guys actually want to make the cars look like this, not because they can't afford better stuff.
