Default Trans interchange

I have a 93 EX and need a new 5 spd (as well as cylinder head), and have been offered a 91 DX trans. Will it work?

Am I right that the ratios might be worse?

Thanks in advance

the trans wont work, it is a cable tranny, your current tranny is hydro. and NO the gears would be better........................... for MPG, haha.
