Turbo questions, please help
I'm piecing together a turbo kit on a tight budget, and I just got a cast iron Drag manifold and a turbo for $170 with very minimal play in the shaft.
Do I need to rotate the cold side to line up for a EG charge piping? Can I remove the external wastegate? What will I need to do to make this work? thanks for any help

1. You may have to rotate the seperate housings in order to get the compressor to line up the way you would like and have the oil drain facing downward....that will have to be mocked up on the car
2. You CAN remove the external gate since your manifold is flanged for an external gate....you can do one of two things: Either block the hole in the manifold and run the internal wastegate spring pressure or get a Tial 38mm and run whatever you want...
3. You will need a lot of things to make this work....Search is your best option, but since i'm feeling helpful, just read in here...
